Cuyamaca College Communication Arts Center Quad in front of the B building

Due to COVID-19, we are having a virtual Commencement Ceremony, and we partnered with the company Marching Orders to develop the virtual ceremony. You will be able to access the virtual ceremony on June 3, 2020 at 5:30 pm by clicking on the Http:// website. Please join us online on June 3, 2020 at 5:30 pm as we all view the ceremony together. Don’t forgot to share the link with your family and friends to view the online ceremony.

All graduates will have their own slide in the virtual ceremony, which includes your name, degree and/or certificate, and we will notate honors status (if applicable). In addition, you will have the opportunity to submit a photo and message to be included on your slide. You will be asked to record your name for the name reader to tape for the program. You will be able to download your slide and shared on social media. Please note that you will receive an email from Marching Orders in the next week asking you to set up your password and enter your information. If you do not receive the email from Marching Orders in the next week, please contact Student Affairs at

Deadlines for Submitting Virtual Ceremony Information: Please refer to the deadlines below to submit your information for the virtual ceremony:

May 11

Deadline for you include the phonetic spelling and record your full name for the name reader.

May 18

Deadline to submit your photo and message for the virtual ceremony.


California community colleges educate 70 percent of our state’s nurses and train 80 percent of firefighters, law enforcement personnel, and emergency medical technicians. Twenty-nine percent of University of California and 51 percent of California State University graduates began their higher education quest at a California Community College.
