Cuyamaca College Hosts Annual Open House, showcasing over a dozen programs and services
Event will be in partnership with the Cuyamaca Water Conservation Garden’s Annual Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival
El Cajon, CA —On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Cuyamaca College will host their annual Open House from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event showcases over a dozen academic and student support programs and services, including providing in-person registration and enrollment assistance to prospective students.
The Cuyamaca College Open House will provide information and guidance for new and prospective students. Departments will highlight program and service benefits, showcase exciting items, and provide information about career pathways available. Student support services, including counselors, will be available to provide assistance and guidance on how to apply, get information about financial aid, and connect to other resources available on campus. The Welcome Center will also be open.
In addition, the Water Conservation Garden will hold the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., which has been hosted by the Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture department for the past 30 years. The event features local vendors, food trucks, plant sales, live music, family-friendly activities, and live butterfly releases. Participating sponsors for the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival include the Heritage of the Americas Museum, Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture, Coyote Music Festival, and Cuyamaca College.

Both events are free and open to the public, with free parking available, and located on campus at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in El Cajon, CA.
