Mark Reagles has 30 years experience in the automotive field as an ASE-Certified Technician in a dealership environment. He started his career in education when he joined Cajon Valley School District (a merit district) as a school bus mechanic in 2007. He immediately became involved with his local CSEA chapter, as well as at the state level and with the Personnel Commission. He is a jacketed Steward and has served as a representative in regional committees. He is currently the Chapter President for Cajon Valley #179 and has been since 2013. He was recently awarded the CSEA San Diego Field Office Activist of the Year (2021) and the San Diego County School Board Association Staff Member of the Year (2019). Mark lives the CSEA mission statement (to improve the lives of our members, students, and the community) for each CSEA member every day. |

Governing Board Appointee |
Bill Garrett was a trustee on the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District Governing Board from 2004 to 2020, including service as Board President from 2008 to 2018. Bill was City Manager of El Cajon from 1996 to 2004. He became involved with the college district soon after moving to the area, serving on the Cuyamaca College Foundation for eight years, including five years as President. He also served on the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, which oversaw bond construction spending, until he was appointed to the Governing Board. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Grossmont & Cuyamaca Colleges. In recognition of the contributions of Bill and his wife, Judy, to the college district and community, the district created an annual award, the Bill and Judy Garrett Civic Leadership Award, and named them as the first recipients in 2017. |
