Major Projects
Information Technology is working hard to partner with college and district stakeholders
on numerous projects that involve technology solutions. We are striving to be transparent
about the scope and status of these projects.
Current major projects are listed below. Each project includes a project charter
and project status updates where available. Depending on the scope and complexity
of the project, there may be a survey or other additional information.

District Enterprise Systems is working with the districtwide web content management system provider, Modern Campus, Modern Campus CMS to create a new web page template for committees.
The district functional support Web Applications Specialist will work with identified stakeholder(s) from all three sites, unless colleges want to manage their own, throughout the process to support getting all committee pages and documents updated using the new template.
Committee Web Page Template FAQs
Q. Where will documents not associated with meetings live on the site?
A. If documents are not associated with a meeting, they can exist on a separate page linked from the committee page template.
Q. Will the training occur over the summer?
A. Once the template is launched, our team will be available to support or build committee page content into the new template. We will also be available to answer any questions during the transition process. In many cases, committee pages are already on a public-facing Grossmont-Cuyamaca website. Website editors will not need training as the new template will be in the same system they are currently working with. We’ll do initial Zoom meetings/presentations, once the template is available.
Q. Will all previous Curriculum documents be moved to the new system going back to where we started in Cascade?
A. Yes, historical documents stored in Cascade will be moved, this migration will be completed by the IT (Information Technology) department.
