Nashona Seals, Professional Development Specialist

Nashona Andrade Seals uses writing, and visual art mediums through workshop and training, to explore the complexity of the connections we have to the human condition and experience. The activities that are folded into her work merge challenge with growth, personal strength with team-work, and effective communication with productivity. She has been effective at combining her education with an uncanny creativity which allows people to see and honor themselves from different lenses. Her passionate work can be seen through various projects which make tangible raw, and penetrating truths about the various ways in which we navigate our road-maps to professionalism through reflection, awareness, and responsibility.  Nashona has an over ten year range in higher education serving in the departments of Admissions and Recruitment, As adjunct instructor, and served as team lead for special projects.  As Professional Development Specialist with GCCCD, she plans to join forces with the HR team to continue providing support to the districts employees, investing in their growth as professionals, and to uphold the mission, vision, and values of the District.

Nashona holds a Master of Science in Human Services from Springfield College, with an emphasis in Community Psychology.
