Student Success Initiatives

 

The success of our students is the core mission of Cuyamaca and Grossmont colleges. Our goal is to help our students be prepared for college; develop an educational goal; be successful in their classes; and complete their educational journey.

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District Governing Board holds Conversations About Student Success workshops before many of its board meetings focusing on aspects of student success.

The Student Success Scorecard was created by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office as an accountability tool that measures student success at each community college in a clear and concise way. This set of performance metrics makes California community colleges perhaps the most transparent and accountable systems of public higher education in the nation and is designed to help more students achieve their educational goals on time.
