Your college PIN is your date of birth, in six-digit format: MMDDYY.

For Self-Service, your username is usually your first name dot last name (firstname.lastname). It should have been emailed to you after applying to the school.

For Canvas your username is typically the same as Self-Service.

Your campus PC and email username are your first name dot last name at gcccd.edu (firstname.lastname@gcccd.edu). This is also used for Wepa printing and accessing Library materials.

Your Self-Service password, on your very first login, begins as your College PIN. It must be changed every semester.

The Canvas password format is displayed on the Canvas login page (except on mobile). If you forget your password, you may use the Forgot Password? link on the login page to reset it.

Your campus account password begins as your College PIN. It must be changed at least once a year. Your campus account is used for campus Wi-Fi, computers, Wepa printing, student email, and accessing Library materials.

Accounts are locked after too many invalid login attempts are made. They are unlocked automatically after a short period of time. Further invalid login attempts will cause your account to lock again.

If you know your password, wait ten minutes and try again. If you do not know your credentials, check our Technology Guides or search for username or password in our Frequently Asked Questions. If you need help, contact the Help Desk.

You must contact the District IT Help Desk so they may verify and unblock you.

Yes! Every student is automatically provided a student email account. After classes begin you will have a GCCCD Email (Microsoft account): firstname.lastname@students.gcccd.edu.

For Canvas, click on the Forgot Password? link on the Canvas login page.

For Self-Service, student email, or computer account, please use the Microsoft Password Reset tool. To use the tool:

  1. Enter your GCCCD email
  2. Follow the prompts on screen
  3. You will receive a confirmation in your personal email upon success

*Note: You must update your password through Outlook.com or on a campus PC if you receive notice it is expired or expiring.
