Hardware and Software Requirements
All online courses require access to the Internet. Instructors must have their own
Internet Service Provider, or may access the courses by using one of the college's
computers.
- Access to a fairly new computer
- Reliable internet access
- Canvas supported browsers and Operating Systems
- Canvas supports the latest two versions of browsers
- Word processing software such as Microsoft Word
- Course-specific software
Instructors can request a GCCCD email account. Important college information is often transmitted this way.
Some instructors use an outside account for online classes.
